The founders of Velocity Group have used 20 years of combined experience and customer feedback to setup this business to deliver a top quality modern service at affordable prices.

Our Courier Software is designed to offer all Velocity clients complete chain of custody from the time the delivery is logged on to our system via phone or on-line, until the job is invoiced to our client.

All packaging used by Velocity Couriers is UN approved for the transport of Class 6.2 samples UN3373 and UN2814.

All our drivers have annual ADR, Chemical Awareness training and how to behave in a healthcare environment training.

All our vehicles are to UN standards for the transport of samples and are audited quarterly.

Medical Couriers

Our Director set up and ran the First GP Courier Pilot with the HSE and gained the first National Blood Transport Contract ever tendered by the state.

Our DGSA was a founding member of the Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers Association of Ireland.

We work with public and private companies and health care providers for Primary Care, Addiction Services and Laboratories.

We provide all packaging associated with the transport of Samples.

Velocity Couriers will provide a temperature controlled, GPS tracked, secure A to B delivery system, with real-time EPOC and EPOD to all clients.

All deliveries can be tracked in real time from an icon on your desktop or an App on your phone.

Offerings to all clients

Our Operations Centre is based on Glasnevin, close to Dublin City Centre and the M50, our base is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, however outside of this time, deliveries can be booked in through our Web Site www.velocitycouriers.ie or through our app which is free to download.

Velocity’s Quality Manual, procedure list and training records are all kept up to date and available for inspection.

All clients will have a dedicated Senior Account manager and Operations Assistant assigned who are contactable at all times.

Velocity assign specific drivers to each contract/client, to help build relationships and enhance security with a back-up driver for each route trained in to cover annual and sick leave.

As part of our security plan, all drivers are uniformed and carry picture ID at all times and all vehicles are logo’d.

All invoices come with a breakdown of usage per client, this report can be arranged to suit requirements.

Our temperature controlled transport is managed through textibox and sofribag, two of the most innovative products for longevity of required temperatures.
